The map is well designed: It is easy to read and perfectly compact. I am looking forward to using it this summer as I make my way along the French Way. Do you thinking publishing books is easier than basement renovations? I vote for spiral bound but with a dust jacket over top. I really think having a printed spine is crucial. I think as long as you have a "key" and are consistent with and amongst symbols then it's a go. But if I was looking for a fountain, I would be drawn toward a teardrop type of shape.
